Journey time reliability

Journey time reliability refers to the consistency of journey times - which is important to our customers. People need to know whether journey time will vary if they make the same journey at the same time on different days.

We look in detail at the spread of journey reliability in individual evaluations. This dashboard shows two metrics that give an overview:

  • planning time index
  • route stress

Both planning time index and route stress metrics show that typical schemes are making journeys more reliable.
