Daily closures

The latest planned roadworks information for England's strategic road network.

Advance notification of full closures on England’s motorways and major A roads.

The below is an enhanced version of the previously provided spreadsheet. We would like to hear your feedback on this, please contact info@nationalhighways.co.uk or use the feedback button to send us your thoughts.

Closures are listed by start date, and generally run 8pm-6am unless they are over 12 hours. Closures over 12 hours are highlighted in blue on the downloadable 'roadwork status' attachment. If you are travelling in the early morning, please note that your route may be impacted by closures starting the evening before.

If a road is listed under ‘Filters’, it means that there will be a full closure on that road at some point in the next seven days. If there are no full closures scheduled for a particular road, it will not be listed.

This information is correct at the time of publication, but is subject to change at short notice, especially in periods of poor weather. The further into the future you look, the more our schedules will be subject to change, so please check back regularly.
