Lessons learnt: the Alliance Lean Production System (ALPS)

Our Smart Motorway ALPS Playbook is a recommended read for those who have a role in managing projects. The playbook captures everything the Smart Motorway Alliance team did to make Lean stick and become business as usual. It explains how ISO 18404 was used as a key building block to help sustain Lean, along with other Lean tools and methodologies, and how all this was brought together to create the ALPS approach.
