We’ll be carrying out resurfacing work and refreshing road markings on the A14 between junction 43 (Bury St Edmunds) to 47a (Woolpit)

We’ll be upgrading 11.2 miles of central reservation barrier in Bedfordshire, upgrading it from steel to concrete, to improve the safety and reliability of journeys along this stretch of the M1.

We’re carrying out essential maintenance work on M11. This will ensure the M11 will continue to remain in a safe and serviceable condition.

We're cutting down and removing diseased trees suffering from ash dieback disease from the M11 between junctions 6 and 14. We will be replanting new trees of other native species that have been carefully chosen to ensure local habitats flourish.

From June 2023 we are set to build an additional 12 emergency areas on the M1 between junction 32 (Thurcroft) and junction 35a (Stocksbridge). This is in addition to the existing 8 emergency areas.
