We’re proposing to change junction 9 so it has free-flowing links between the M3 and the A34 both in both directions

Following several reactive repairs, we plan to carry out inspections and resurfacing on Wentbridge Viaduct and a pier replacement on Wentedge Road Bridge. This work is substantial and is likely to cause disruption to customers travelling on the A1.

We’re upgrading the A47 between North Tuddenham and Easton in Norfolk to a dual carriageway. This will complete the dual carriageway between Norwich and Dereham, supporting economic growth and easing congestion in the area.

We'll be carrying out repairs and maintenance on stretches of the concrete road surface on the A5 between Stony Stratford and Portway in both directions, as well as other repairs and maintenance for approximately six weeks during autumn 2024.
