A21 Old Cock Footbridge replacement
We’re replacing the footbridge that goes over the A21 in Tonbridge, Kent
Temporary traffic lights - junction of B245 London Road and Half Moon Lane
There are emergency utility works on the B245 diversion route in Hildenborough.
It means there are temporary traffic lights at the junction of the B245 London Road with Half Moon Lane.
Please allow for possible delays on the B245. Alternatively if you can avoid the area and use an alternative route entirely please do so.

Full weekend closures
8pm Friday 12 to 6am Monday 15 September
A21 both directions between Morley’s roundabout and Vauxhall roundabout for removal of the footbridge.
8pm Friday 31 October to 6am Monday 3 November
A21 both directions between Morley’s roundabout and Vauxhall roundabout to install the new footbridge.
During full weekend closures, we advise people travelling northbound to:
- join the A228 at Pembury
- use the M20/M26 to join the M25
