We are replacing the vehicle safety barriers between M20 Junction 5, Aylesford Interchange, and Junction 6, Sandling Interchange, in Kent.

A transformer shipped from Korea will complete the final leg of its journey along the M6 to Scotland this weekend.

We're doing essential maintenance work on the A14 at Ipswich between junction 52 (Claydon) and junction 55 (Copdock Interchange, where the A14 meets the A12) to extend the life of the road surface, to minimise the need for more extensive repairs in the future.

National Highways will be embarking on the second phase of a major modernisation upgrade of the A38 Saltash Tunnel later this autumn.

From June 2023 we are set to build an additional 12 emergency areas on the M1 between junction 32 (Thurcroft) and junction 35a (Stocksbridge). This is in addition to the existing 8 emergency areas.
