Maintenance schemes taking place in the North West region.

The A1 is one of the country's longest roads, connecting London and Edinburgh. The route currently consists of motorway and dual carriageways, with some sections of single carriageway between Morpeth and Ellingham.

We're resurfacing the A3 southbound near Petersfield.. We'll be working between the Berelands Interchange and the A3M junction (near Waterlooville).

Widening the A19 between Norton and Wynyard

We’re repairing concrete sections of the A11 between Thickthorn Interchange and Tuttles Lane Interchange.

We're making improvements to junction 19 of the M6.

We're doing essential maintenance work on the A14 at Ipswich between junction 52 (Claydon) and junction 55 (Copdock Interchange, where the A14 meets the A12) to extend the life of the road surface, to minimise the need for more extensive repairs in the future.

We’re upgrading the A47 between Blofield and North Burlingham to dual carriageway to ease congestion and support economic growth in the area.

Network Rail is replacing the existing bridge that takes trains over the M62, between junction 19 and 20 near Rochdale.
