Overnight closures in September 2024
We’ve finished most of our work at New Monks Farm.
There will be night time closures of the A27 in both directions between the Adur Interchange and Manor Road roundabout from Monday 16 – Saturday 21 September from 9pm and 6am each night.
There'll be a diversion route using the A27, A24 and A283.
You'll still be able to get to the airport and residents will still have access to their homes and property.

Overview
We're building a new roundabout on the A27 east of Lancing to give access to the New Monks Farm development and provide better links to Brighton City Airport.
The next phase of our work will see all westbound traffic rerouted onto the new A27 westbound carriageway around the roundabout with improvement works starting on the westbound and eastbound carriageways.
Work is expected to last until summer 2024 and will be carried out in stages to keep traffic moving and disruption to a minimum.
