    Safety enhancement work starts soon

    We will be updating the vehicle safety barriers on the A2070 between Park Farm Roundabout in Kingsnorth, and Hamstreet in Kent.

    This will enhance safety on this busy road.

    To install the new barriers safely, we will be working in the daytime, occasionally overnight and with some weekend work.

    The laybys on the A2070 between Park Farm Roundabout and Hamstreet will be closed 24/7 for the duration of the project, which starts on Tuesday 6 May 2025.

    There will also be temporary traffic lights and a temporary speed reduction to 40mph between Park Farm roundabout in Kingsnorth and Hamstreet, which will be in operation 24/7.
