Planned road closures, January to February 2026
We’re doing maintenance work on the A120 in Essex in both directions between Dunmow West Interchange and Panners Roundabout.
We're working from Monday 12 January to Saturday 7 February 2026 (8pm to 6am) on weeknights only, weather permitting.
To work safely, we'll need overnight road closures.

A120 eastbound between Dunmow West Interchange to Dunmow South Interchange
Diversion
Diversion route for A120 eastbound between Dunmow West Interchange to Dunmow South Interchange:
- If you’re heading east on the A120 via Dunmow South Interchange, leave at the B1256.
- Follow the B1256 to the Rayne Road/Pod’s Brook Road roundabout.
- Keep going to Panners Roundabout, where you can rejoin the A120 and continue your journey east.
