A5 | Shropshire | Both Directions | Road Closed | Serious Collision | Between Felton Butler and B4396
The A5 in Shropshire is closed in both directions between Felton Butler Roundabout and B4396 (Wolfshead Roundabout) due to a serious collision.
West Mercia Police are on scene and will be carrying out complex investigation work.
National Highways service providers are on scene assisting with traffic management.
The closure is expected to be protracted and in place for several hours.
Diversion Routes
Road users travelling northbound are advised to follow the solid triangle diversion symbol on road signs:
- Exit the A5 at Felton Butler and take the 3rd exit towards Nesscliffe
- Continue along this road to rejoin the A5 at Wolfshead Roundabout
Road users travelling southbound are advised to follow the solid circle diversion symbol on road signs:
- At Wolfshead Roundabout, take the 1st exit towards Nesscliffe
- Continue along this road to rejoin the A5 at Felton Butler
