The A47 in Norfolk is closed westbound between the B1108 (Norwich) and A1074 (New Costessey) due to a serious collision. that was reported at 23:25.
The eastbound carriageway was also closed but this has now reopened.
The westbound closure remains in place for recovery and clear-up work.

Diversion Route:
Road users travelling westbound are advised to follow the solid square diversion symbol on road signs:
- Exit the A47 at Thickthorn Interchange and take the A11 to Norwich.
- At the A140 roundabout take the first exit and follow the A140 Ring Road to the A1074 roundabout.
- Take first exit from the roundabout onto the A1074 and rejoin the A47 at Longwater Interchange.
