The A40 is closed eastbound between the A38 (Longford) and the A417 (Gloucester) due to a multi-vehicle collision.
Gloucestershire Police are currently in attendance and carrying out accident investigation works. Once complete, recovery of the involved vehicles will take place.
The road is expected to be closed for several hours.
