National Highways use of injunctions
Back Published 30 June 2023 Blog Our response to a column in The Guardian on National Highways use of injunctions published on 29 June 2023 Safety is National Highways top priority. Back Published 09 August 2023 Blog Our response to an article in The Times which appeared on 4 August 2023. With the story highlighting a figure exceeding 400,000 since 2018, it’s fair to ask what National Highways is doing about it. In our response to the newspaper, Tom Clancy, Group leader of Environmental Delivery Support, at National Highways

National Highways team on point with repairs to historic fingerpost
Back Published 21 October 2024 Press Release National Highways has stepped in to restore an historic fingerpost that had fallen into disrepair alongside the busy A5. Traffic officers help uncover a piece of history at 800-year-old priory
Back Published 14 October 2024 Press Release A team of traffic officers gave up their time to help with the conservation of an 800-year-old priory – and unearthed a long lost piece of ancient wall. Swapping their National Highways uniforms for waterproofs, the volunteers had offered to help remove some of the thick vegetation and shrubbery that had grown over the ruins at Grace Dieu Priory over recent years. The Priory, in North West Leicestershire, dates back to 1239 when it was a house f
