Community Liaison Groups
Forums that provide a community voice to help shape construction plans and hold the project to account on its commitment to being a good neighbour
We have established three Community Liaison Groups (CLG) to help ensure local communities have a voice as construction progresses.
The groups bring together community representatives, councillors, local authority officers and project leaders to discuss upcoming work, potential impacts, measures to reduce disruption and ways to keep our neighbours informed and up to date.
Independent Chairs lead each group, helping to ensure local concerns are heard and the project is held to account on its commitment to being a good neighbour. Find out more.
Three groups will cover the main construction areas:
- South of the River Thames including Gravesend, Medway and Kent.
- North bank of the River Thames up to the A13 junction (North 1) including East Tilbury, Linford, Chadwell St Mary and Little Thurrock Blackshots.
- A13 junction and area north of the A13 junction (North 2) including Orsett, North Ockendon and Upminster.
For more information about how the groups operate and the topics they discuss, please see the Terms of Reference or meeting minutes and presentations below.
