We're committed to supporting communities near our roads during improvement works. Here's how we've helped local communities around M3 Junction 9.
Bassy’s Barn
Bassy's Barn is a petting farm run exclusively for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and their families.
We helped Bassy's Barn install a pond lining, fix fences and replace their stable roof.
Chiltern Way Academy Careers Day
We took our drone and ‘Spot’ the robot dog to Chiltern Way Academy Careers Day.
We gave a practical demonstration of career opportunities available to students - as robot operators and drone controllers.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust
We joined the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust and volunteers to spread chalk grassland and wildflower seeds at St Catherine’s Hill in Winchester.
Kings’ School
Students at the Kings' School Careers and Employability Fair explored different aspects of the project and career opportunities within the construction industry.
Naomi House & Jacksplace
Naomi House & Jacksplace are hospices providing care and support for children and young adults.
We held a Grand National sweepstake for Naomi House & Jacksplace, donating £100 to the hospices.
We also participated in Naomi House & Jacksplace Children’s Hospice Race Night. Together with 150 representatives of local businesses, we helped raise £6,500.
Richard Taunton Sixth Form College
We attended the Richard Taunton Sixth Form College’s Careers Fair.
We met students, talked about the roles within the construction industry, apprenticeships and work placements.

St Catherine’s Hill
The Wildlife Trust's St Catherine's Hill Nature reserve is a chalk downland near Winchester.
We helped the Trust with conservation work including:
- clearing vegetation to improve biodiversity
- removing old fences and gateposts
The Carroll Centre
We donated Easter Eggs to a small community hub, helping fill The Carroll Centre’s food pantry, which in turn provides help to their community.
Trinity Winchester’s Big Sleep Out 2024
We supported Trinity Winchester homeless charity's big sleep out, a fundraising event spotlighting conditions faced by the homeless.
As well as helping with entertainment and refreshments, we also spent the night in cardboard shelters.
EBP STEM event at National Oceanographic Centre 2025
EBP South have 20 years experience connecting businesses and schools.
We supported over 200 Year 8 pupils from 15 local schools learning about STEM-based careers that are available to them with hands-on exercises.
Munch Catering, Winchester
We’ve used Munch Catering, a local not-for-profit charity, run by former chefs, to cater for regular meetings along with team-building days.
Renovations at Jane Austen’s House
Over two days, we helped Jane Austen's House museum transform it's courtyard.
We carefully replaced aging stonework. with fresh materials.
Teens Unite
We completed the Three Peaks Challenge, raising more than £6,500 for Teens Unite .
