A30 - Road traffic collision

The A30 in Cornwall is closed in both directions between B3301 near Hayle and the A3074 near Camborne following a serious multi-vehicle collision which occurred shortly before 11:20 this morning. 

Devon and Cornwall emergency services are in attendance, working at the scene. 

The closures are expected to remain ongoing for several hours due to the nature of the incident. 

Diversion Routes

Traffic travelling eastbound is advised to follow the below route - (not symbol led)

  • Exit the A30 eastbound at Loggans Moor Roundabout and take the 3rd exit to join Carwin Rise towards Connor Downs
  • Continue for approximately 4 miles, passing through Connor Downs, to the roundabout with the A3047 at Treswithian
  • At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A3047 towards Camborne
  • Remain on the A3047 for approximately 1 mile to the roundabout with Commercial Street
  • Take the 2nd exit and continue to the next roundabout and take the 1st exit to join the B3303 towards Redruth
  • Remain on the B3303/A3047 for approximately 1.5 miles to the traffic light controlled junction with Tolvaddon Road
  • Turn left towards the A30 and continue your onward journey

Traffic travelling westbound is advised to follow the below route - (not symbol led)

  • Exit the A30 westbound at Tolvaddon and at the end of the slip road turn left
  • Continue to the next traffic light controlled junction and turn right towards Tuckingmill
  • Remain on the A3047/B3303 for approximately 1.5 mile to the roundabout with Basset Road
  • Take the 2nd exit onto Basset Road and continue to the next roundabout
  • Take the 1st exit again to rejoin the A3047 and travel for approximately 1 mile to reach the roundabout with Roseworthy Hill at the A30 junction
  • Take the 1st exit onto Roseworthy Hill and continue for approximately 4 miles, passing through Connor Downs to re-join the A30 at Loggans Moor roundabout
