National Highways is carrying out essential refurbishment works at Salisbury Road Bridge, which carries Salisbury Road over the M27 motorway near Ower Interchange (Junction 2) which is the junction with the A36.

6pm Sunday 13 September until 9am Saturday 19 September
Salisbury Road will be fully closed 24/7.

Monday 21 September (9pm-6am)
M27 westbound closed between junctions 2 and 1.
Tuesday 22 and Wednesday 23 September (9pm-6am)
M27 eastbound closed between junctions 1 and 2.
Overnight lane closures on the M27 between junctions 1 and 2 will then follow in both directions until late October.

Project information
Overview
Works are being carried out in two phases.
Phase one involves:
- replacing bridge deck joints
- re-waterproofing
- and resurfacing the road surface above
Phase two involves:
- concrete repairs and bearing refurbishment to the underside of the bridge
- M27 overnight closures taking place Monday to Friday (9pm-6am)
