Closures and diversions

Monday 10 to Friday 21 August – A14 eastbound junction 58 (Seven Hills) to 59 (Trimley)  

Fully closed weeknights  (10pm to 6am) 

Diversion

• exit the A14 at junction 58 (Seven Hills) and head eastbound on Felixstowe Road towards Trimley St Martin
• then onto High Road
• at the roundabout turn onto Howlett Way
• rejoin the A14 at junction 59 (Trimley) and continue your journey

Monday 24 to Wednesday 26 August – A14 eastbound junction 59 (Trimley) to 60 (Trimley St Mary)

Fully closed overnight  (10pm to 6am)   

Diversion 

• exit the A14 at junction 59 (Trimley) onto Howlett Way
• at the roundabout turn onto High Road
• continue onto High Road onto High Street/High Street West
• at the traffic light turn left onto Garrison Lane
• at the roundabout turn left onto the A154
• then rejoin the A14 at junction 60

Bank Holiday Monday, 31 August

We won’t be working over the bank holiday weekend to minimise disruption. 

Tuesday 1 to Thursday 3 September – A14 westbound junction 61 (Felixstowe) to 60 (Trimley St Mary)  

Fully closed overnight  (10pm to 6am) 

Diversion

• exit the A14 at junction 60 (Trimley St Mary) onto the A154 (Candlet Road)  
• at the roundabout turn onto Garrison Lane to Langer Road
• at the traffic light turn right onto Beach Station Road
• then at the roundabout turn onto Walton Avenue
• at the next roundabout turn left onto Trinity Avenue  
• then rejoin the A14 at junction 61

Friday 4 September and Monday 7 September – A14 westbound junction 59 (Trimley) to 58a (Seven Hills)  

Fully closed overnight  (10pm to 6am) 

Diversion

• exit the A14 at junction 59 (Trimley) onto Howlett Way
• at the roundabout turn onto High Road
• then onto Felixstowe Road
• then turn right onto A1156  
• before rejoining the A14 at junction 58

Tuesday 8 September and Thursday 10 September – A14 westbound junction 60 (Trimley St Mary) to 59 (Trimley)

Fully closed overnight  (10pm to 6am) 

Diversion

• exit the A14 at junction 59 (Trimley) onto Howlett Way
• at the roundabout turn onto High Road
• then onto Felixstowe Road
• then turn right onto A1156  
• before rejoining the A14 at junction 58
