Thank you for taking part

The consultation on some local changes to the project closed on 20 June 2022.

The five-week local refinement consultation opened on Thursday 12 May and gave you the opportunity to have your say on some local changes to the project proposed following the extensive community impacts consultation held in 2021.

At the initial count, more than 2,232 people provided their feedback to the refinements, with more than 600 visiting one of our 10 consultation events.

"Your responses are vital in helping us improve the project, and will help us shape the final details of our plans before we submit our application for a Development Consent Order later this year"

Matt Palmer, Executive Director Lower Thames Crossing, said: “I would like to thank everyone who took the time to learn about the changes and provide us with your feedback. Your responses are vital in helping us improve the project, and will help us shape the final details of our plans before we submit our application for a Development Consent Order later this year."

Now the consultation has closed, we will analyse the responses and incorporate feedback into our planning application, known as a Development Consent Order (DCO) application, due to be submitted later this year.

The application will include a Consultation Report that explains how the issues raised during the consultations were considered and responded to. Find out more about our Development Consent Order.

All the consultation documents, information videos and interactive map will remain on our dedicated consultation website.
