A360 reopens following temporary closure

Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) has finished works on the A360. It has installed high-voltage cabling under the road between Avenue roundabout and Longbarrow roundabout on the A303.

The road opened a week earlier than planned on Saturday 6 July, following inspection and approval by Wiltshire Council.

Wiltshire Council has also carried out additional improvements on the A360 while the closure has been in place, including:

  • pothole and road edge repairs
  • drainage improvements.

The council will be carrying out more resurfacing around Church Bottom crossroads overnight over the coming days.
