The closing date and time for entries was 11.59pm on Sunday 10 September 2023.

The rules

  • You can only enter once.​
  • Entrants must be over 18 and obtain the permission of the person(s) shown in the image prior to submitting the image as part of this Competition.
  • Submitted imagery and video must be your own creation, or you must have consent from the original creator.​
  • Historical imagery and video may be entered into the competition.​
  • Inappropriate content will not be accepted and reported if in violation of social media policies.​
  • By entering you consent to National Highways using all submitted materials for the duration of the 100 Years of A-roads campaign.​
  • The Competition is not open to National Highways and National Trust employees, volunteers, their partners and their families.
  • You must reside in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland. ​
