As part of our effort to reduce carbon emissions from roadside lighting, we’ll be moving from high pressure sodium lights (SON) to LED lights on the A47 East Winch to West Bilney LED lighting .

Traffic management from Wednesday 21 October to Thursday 17 December
From October to December, we'll work using lane closures and traffic lights.
The A47 will remain open while we work.Work in 2027
From January to March 2027, we’ll need to close the A47 in both directions from Constitution Hill to the A1122.
Closures will be overnight on weeknights.
We’ll give more information on this page closer to the time – when details are firm.
