Keeping you informed about your journey

We’re working closely with leading navigation and journey planning providers, including Google, Waze and TomTom, who use our traffic data within their services. This means you can continue to get the latest information in one place, using the tools you already rely on to plan your journeys.

As part of this change, the Traffic England website will be closing, and some email subscription services will also be coming to an end.

What you can still access

You’ll continue to be able to find key information directly through our website, including:

• a rolling seven-day view of full road closures
• the ability to search and filter by date, road and direction
• options to download information as a spreadsheet
• a live incident tool to check current road conditions at any time

What this means for you

• You’ll still have access to the same important information
• Updates will be more current and accurate
• Information will be clearer and easier to use
• You can check road conditions whenever it suits you

These changes are part of an ongoing programme to improve how we share information. We’ll continue to listen to feedback and develop our services to better meet your needs.
