The A34 in Berkshire is closed northbound between the A4(Speen) and the M4 due to a serious collision. 

The incident occurred shortly before 11am his morning. Thames Valley Police and emergency services are currently working at the scene along with the Air Ambulance.

The closure is expected to remain in place for several hours for collision investigation works. 

Traffic within the closure is currently being released past the scene in lane 1. 

Diversion Details

Northbound traffic is advised to take the following route.

  • Exit the A34 at Speen and take the A4 westbound
  • Continue on the A4 westbound then take the A338 northbound at Eddington
  • Continue on the A338 northbound then join the M4 westbound at J14
  • Continue on the M4 westbound and exit an J13 to re-join the A34
