A30 - Road traffic collision

The A30 in Cornwall is closed eastbound between the A38 (Bodmin) and the A389 (Kennards House) following a serious multiple vehicle collision that occurred at approximately 11:00am this morning . 

Devon and Cornwall Police are leading the response with collision investigation work ongoing.  

Recovery of the vehicles involved will be protracted with no times for the reopening of the A30 at this stage. 

Diversion Route

Road users travelling eastbound are advised to follow the Solid Square diversion symbols.

  • Exit the A30 and take the third exit on to the A38 
  • Continue on the A38 eastbound towards Liskeard 
  • At Liskeard take the A390 towards Callington
  • At Callington take the A388
  • Continue on the A388 until you re-join the A30 at Launceston
