Get set for the Commonwealth Games

The closing ceremony of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games takes place at the Alexander Stadium on Monday 8 August, when the the baton will be passed to the 2026 hosts, Victoria, Australia.

We're reminding people that there will be traffic restrictions around Perry Barr, Birmingham. The A34 southbound will be restricted to local access and buses only from Scott Arms junction to Perry Barr station.

Access to Aldridge Road will also be restricted to residents of the road, businesses and local buses.

Other traffic management will be in place until 10 August 2022. Visit the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games (CWG) website for full information, including a local area traffic management map and travel advice.
