Diversion Routes

Road users travelling eastbound are advised to follow the solid diamond diversion symbol on local road signs.  

• Exit the A45 eastbound at the A428/A45 Barnes Meadow roundabout and take the fourth exit onto the A428 eastbound.
• Continue on the A428 Bedford road heading straight on across two roundabouts.
• Continue on the A428 eastbound through, Great Houghton, Brafield-on-the-Green, Denton and Yardley Hastings villages.
• At the A428/A509 Warrington Toll Bar roundabout, take the first exit onto the A509 northbound.
• Continue on the A509 northbound passing through, Bozeat, Strixton, Wollaston, towards Little Irchester.
• At the A509 London Road/ Turnells Mill roundabout, take the first exit onto the A509 Turnells Mill Lane.
• At the Little Irchester Junction roundabout, take the first exit to re-join the A45 eastbound.

Road users travelling westbound are advised to follow the hollow triangle diversion symbol visible on local road signs. 

• Exit the A45 westbound at the A509 (Wilby Way) roundabout and loop around the roundabout to join the A45 eastbound.
• Continue along the A45 to the A509/B573 Turnells Mill Lane junction and exit.
• At the roundabout, take the 2^nd exit onto Turnells Mills Lane to the A509 London Road/Turnells Mill lane roundabout, at the roundabout, take the 3^rd exit onto the A509 London Road.
• Continue on the A509 London Road through Wollaston, Strixton and Bozeat to the Warrington Toll Bar roundabout.
• At the roundabout, take the 3^rd exit onto the A428 westbound through Yardley Hastings, Denton, Brafield-on-the-Green and Great Houghton villages.
• Continue straight over 2 roundabout towards the Barnes Meadow Interchange.
• At the Barnes Meadow Interchange, take the 1^st exit to re-join the A45 westbound.
