Supply Chain Data Governance Manager
The Supplier has an assigned individual responsible for data governance who is accountable for making sure that information created, collected, managed and used on behalf of National Highways, is done so in accordance with the information management system
Requirement
A data governance manager is accountable for the implementation of National Highways requirements for good information management as detailed in the National Highways Information Management System.
Specification
This role undertakes but is not limited to the following activities:
- internally assure that any data created, collected, and managed is complete and fit for purpose, and complies with any agreed standards with National Highways
- work with National Highways upon mobilisation of contracts to provide assurance to the Information Governance team that there is an appropriate understanding of the Information Management System requirements and how to implement them
- work with National Highways to plan and implement any actions required in areas of non-compliance with the Information Management System to either mitigate any risks or achieve compliance
- work with National Highways on demobilisation of contract to provide assurance to the Information Governance team that all information collected on behalf of National Highways has been managed in accordance with the Information Management System and has been transferred appropriately
- undertake assurance when requested by the National Highways Information Governance team to show appropriate compliance with the information management system across all data and information being managed on our behalf
- review and where necessary, implement any changes to the requirements and specifications of the Information Management System issued by National Highways
