If you're driving to the Kent ports this weekend please remember the Operation Brock contraflow is in place on the M20 and be sure to plan ahead. Check our travel alerts page and our Operation Brock page to to get the latest.

All HGV drivers travelling to Eurotunnel or the Port of Dover must follow the signs and use the M20 and join Operation Brock at M20 junction 8 or risk a fine.

Travellers using Eurotunnel and the Port of Dover are advised to:

  • Plan their journeys and check with the travel operator before setting out
  • Allow more time for their journeys
  • Have food and drink with them in case of delays
  • Carry out a few simple checks to their vehicles before setting out
