Essential road improvement works are taking place on the M40 at junction 10 this month until February 2025.
The work is being carried out on behalf of Oxfordshire County Council on the southbound off slip of the M40 at junction 10 connecting to the A43 Padbury roundabout.
During our scheme we will:
Widen the southbound off slip to three lanes as it approaches the roundabout
Provide smart signals at all junctions to speed traffic up
Protect the local environment and clear overgrown vegetation
The result will see an increase in capacity, an extension in the life of the road and result in improved road safety and lower journey times through the junction.
Work has begun now and traffic management will come into force on Wednesday, August 28.
Further details can be found at: www.oxfordshire.gov.uk/m40-junction10 and https://nationalhighways.co.uk/travel-updates/road-closure-report/
