Upcoming Events
As the nation’s leading highways business, we regularly host events to connect with organisations operating in the infrastructure and professional services supply chain.
We run face-to-face and online events where we inform, consult and collaborate with suppliers - discussing sector challenges to find solutions and sharing information about our pipeline of work.
We also exhibit and participate in industry led conferences, exhibitions and shows where we have the opportunity to talk to suppliers, stakeholders and road users about our work.
Carbon Week 2024: Low Carbon Innovation from Concept to Reality
To celebrate our third annual Carbon Week, we are inviting you to a special webinar and panel discussion: 'Net Zero and Low Carbon Innovation: From Concept to Reality'.
You will hear the latest update on our progress towards net zero and our journey to finding innovative solutions for net zero carbon maintenance and construction. We will discuss the process from concept to reality, showcase some opportunities that can be implemented now, and how we can support suppliers with scaling and enabling these low carbon innovations.
This will be followed by an exciting panel session where our Director of Environmental Sustainability, Steve Elderkin, will be joined by some incredible industry experts to get their views on how to drive low carbon innovation and how to unblock the path to progress.
Recovery Tow Show
The Professional Recovery Tow Show takes place at the Telford International Centre 18-19 September 2024.

The show has become a showcase for the manufacturers and suppliers to the industry and it is a location where the vehicle recovery community converge to meet, greet and generally have a good time.
During both days of the show, a display of the latest recovery equipment and methods are demonstrated by our Demonstration Sponsor, Boniface, in front of a galleried audience of over 300 people.
With the very latest designs in truck and equipment technology and all the major work providers present, the Tow Show is the place to be in September.
Visitors also benefit with free parking and entry to the show.
Emergency Services Show

Attendance is anticipated at over 10,000 primarily frontline responders from the police, fire and rescue, ambulance, and search and rescue services from operational and procurement teams, key decision makers and all personnel looking to source solutions to improve public safety and emergency response.
This is our opportunity to forge and strengthen relationships with blue-light personnel to display a joined-up and co-ordinated approach for dealing with the challenges faced by the emergency services when responding to incidents.
Items covered at the event will include:
- our operational roles and processes
- the promotion of our CLEAR initiative
- The Strategic Road Responders Agreement
- The Commercial Vehicle Incident Prevention Programme
- Digital Lab
- our traffic management incursion warning system
- a Traffic Officer vehicle fitted with Radar reflectors along with Traffic Officers celebrating 20 years of National Highways Frontline Services
New to the stand this year will be our Supplier Hub providing support and guidance on how to become a supplier.
Altogether a great opportunity to strengthen existing and build new relationships with our Blue Light Service customers.
