Providing access to international gateways – from ports at Grimsby and Immingham and Tees and Hartlepool, to airports at Teesside and Leeds-Bradford, our road system supports business growth. It also brings tourism to our stunning natural, cultural and historic attractions.

To make sure our roads work for everyone, as well as the environment we’ve got big plans. By tackling congestion, improving safety and introducing new technology we’ll create better links across the Pennines, to Scotland and beyond - making sure our region’s roads are fit for the future.
